Registration is open for Conference and Exhibition on Non-Destructive Testing and Sensors (CENDTS 2024) on Thu, Fri ( 29, 30 August 2024).

Indian Society for Non-destructive Testing (ISNT) Jamshedpur Chapter is one of the 20 (twenty) chapters of its main society ISNT with its headquarter at Chennai which was formed by the merger of two societies, Non- destructive Testing Society of India registered at Calcutta on 19. 07. 1972 and another Indian Institute of Non-destructive Inspection Engineering, registered at Madras, with its registration no. 49 of 1981 (registered under the Tamil Nadu Society Act 27 of 1975). ISNT Jamshedpur Chapter has been actively providing services to the NDT needs to the personnel related to NDT activities for the past 35 years geographically covering Jamshedpur and nearby regions.

VISION

To provide world class scientific and technological knowledge in the field of Non-destructive Testing to the personnel engaged in NDT activities in Steel and other industries to help them in improving plant productivity, product quality and in reducing the plant maintenance cost.

MISSION

In order to achieve this vision, the ISNT Jamshedpur Chapter is promoting awareness of NDT science and technology by doing the following activities.

  • Organizing lectures delivered by the eminent experts in specific field of NDT.
  • Organizing Training and Certification programme for the NDT personnel.
  • Organizing Workshops/National and International Seminars/conferences in the field of NDT.
  • Providing platform for NDT equipment manufacturers/suppliers to exhibit their specific products for the users from industries, academic institutions as well as government laboratories etc. during conduction of seminars, conferences etc.

Currently, ISNT Jamshedpur Chapter family has grown to 50 + members where young NDT professionals can meet stalwarts of NDT latest technology and manufacturers of NDT equipment.
